Personal reaction:
On the "over-dependence on global economy" issue of the Philippines, I can express lots of thoughts and ideas regarding such issue. First of all, my opinion on the over-dependence in global economy shares that the Philippines truly have a weak economy that cannot be efficient enough to sustain a productive and progressive economy. For the past years I've been studying and learning about the Philippines, it is one of the countries with abondant supply of natural resources. With the abondant supply of natural resources we should find a way to efficiently use it in order to develop and improve our economy. Just like other countries their economy is rising and sufficient because their governments find effective ways on using what they have.
For my understanding with the economy of the Philippines it is a mixed market and has so much potential on developing our economy. Unfortunately we have not found a way to do so, we highly depend on other countries that can benefit from our resources. My thought is that if we export our own resources to other countries' for manufacturing or innovation, why can't we just do it and benefit from it ourselves.
P.S. our natural resources will not always be there, so we have to use it to its maximum potential. (Help Save Mother Earth)
